This kitchen was a closed off galley with no windows. We removed the wall to the adjoining breakfast nook, swapped a cramped peninsula for a roomy island, and refinished the hardwoods throughout.

We removed the old tub, opened up a small water closet, and relocated the shower to extend the vanity. We added a zero entry, curbless shower with a built-in bench, grab bars, and a roll-under vanity. Soft sage cabinetry and brass fixtures keep it from feeling clinical.

Part of a whole house renovation: we moved the kitchen from the middle of the house and combined it with the den, turning two closed-off rooms into one open living space anchored by the original stone fireplace.

A full shower gut and retile. Dated tan tile replaced with large-format gray tile, a marble hexagon floor, and a tiled niche, coordinated around downtown permitting and building requirements.

From farmhouse to fabulous. We removed the wainscoting, repaired the hardwoods, and replaced the vanity and accessories. A moody botanical wallpaper and brass fixtures brought this half bath fully into the present.

A budget minded refresh, start to finish in one month: cabinets sanded, repaired, and painted a creamy white, dated laminate swapped for quartz and subway tile, new stainless appliances, and new hardware and a pull-down faucet in satin nickel.

A nod to the era the home was built in, brought into the present: we removed a small linen closet and relocated the toilet to make room for a spacious glass enclosed shower, swapping vintage green tile for white subway tile and a basketweave floor.
